Michelle Cotton, Chef de Département Programmation at MUDAM, Luxembourg, and Dr. Gregor Jansen, Director of the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, will select the participating galleries for the sector COLLOBORATIONS at the art fair this year. Under the title COLLABORATIONS, galleries could apply with joint projects between galleries or artists. Possible are both historical and contemporary perspectives. At the coming trade fair, 35 galleries will present themselves with various COLLABORATIONS within the main sections of MODERN/POST WAR and CONTEMPORARIES.
The sector NEW POSITIONS, a sponsorship programme for emerging artists has been established for nearly 40 years, will also be selected by a jury of institutional curators. This includes Nicola Dietrich of the Kölnischer Kunstverein, Aneta Rostowskowa from Temporary Gallery Cologne, as well as Dr. Marc Wellmann of Haus am Lützowplatz, Berlin. 20 galleries will present NEW POSITIONS.
The exhibitor list of ART COLOGNE 2020, including all COLLABORATIONS and NEW POSITIONS participants, will be published in the coming week.
