NEW POSITIONS - ART COLOGNE 2012
“The Best of the Best” the Audi Art Award for NEW POSITIONS
'NEW POSITIONS', ART COLOGNE's international sponsorship programme for young, innovative artists is supported by the German Federal Government, the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Koelnmesse - the Fair organizers - and the Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Editionen (BVDG).
The AUDI Art Award for NEW POSITIONS is presented to the best of these young artists. The prizewinner is given a solo show at Cologne's Artothek and includes the publication of an exhibition catalogue.
This year's selection panel has chosen twenty-three young artists, each of whom will be allocated an additional 25 square metre area in the stands of the galleries representing them.
